11 minutes of 4K gameplay and a release date

Redfall: 11 min of gameplay in 4K and a release date, the next Arkane is yet to be revealed

Microsoft had teased it upstream, Redfall was one of the games showcased during Developer_Direct by Xbox and Bethesda, and the latter was treated to a nice spotlight cup at the end of the show. A good 11 minutes were dedicated to him to learn a little more about the contours of this FPS developed by the American studio Arkane Studios. The first thing, however, that the developers wanted to specify is the release date of the game, scheduled for May 2 on PC and Xbox Series. The focus of this evening was to present the different playable characters, with their abilities and possible evolutions through a skill tree that promises to be quite complete. Each character has her own special abilities, such as Layla being able to make gigantic leaps upwards, but also creates a magnetic field to stop enemy projectiles and send them back. There’s also Dev, who can drive a kind of technological stake into the ground to produce a synthetic light and thereby turn vampires to stone. It must be said that the world in which we are about to evolve is full of vampires, whether it is their nest or their presence after dark, and that we will have to be equipped not to get bitten in turn.

Redfall will be available on May 2 on Xbox Game Pass day one, and sold for €80 on Xbox Series and €70 for PC gamers, who are not subscribed to the service.
