While Tesla has made a significant drop in its prices, customers who have paid a high price for their car are demanding compensation.

As we know, Tesla is particularly famous for playing yo-yo with the prices of its cars. If we are still far from the Model 3 at 35,000 euros promised by Elon Musk a few years earlier, prices generally tend to fall, with the arrival of new versions. We think in particular of Propulsion, which makes the range more accessible. In fact, the Model Y can now be purchased from just €46,990. What democratizes the brand to customers, away from Model S and Model X still very expensive. But a few days ago, the American manufacturer orchestrated a very sharp price drop, of more than 13,000 euros in a single night for some models.

A significant drop

If the Model 3 was previously on display starting at €53,490, it is now available for €44,990 only recently. A sharp decline that obviously won over customers, while orders increased thanks to this new pricing policy. But it’s still not to everyone’s taste. In fact, customers who bought their car before this decline are only mildly appreciative of this news. And the latter let it be known, since they ask the brand for it offer them compensation, this fall having then dropped the value of their car on the used market. Not to mention, they bought their car at full price, while others will pay for it less than new.
