Game News The Elder Scrolls Necrom: here is the new extension of Bethesda’s MMO, all the details
Split out :
Yesterday evening Bethesda held a small showcase unveiling some of its next projects: the brand new extension of The Elder Scrolls Online was one of these and will therefore be called Necrom.
Shadow over Morrowind
We were pretty spoiled last night at the Xbox showcase: whether it was the impressive Forza Motorsport, the release date of Redfall, or the reveal of a flashy brand new exclusive, Microsoft has got the job done pretty well. Also in the pile was the tireless The Elder Scrolls Online, which presented its next expansion called Necrom.
To do it, A long and lavish CGI trailer has been released, which you can find in our video player above. The multiplayer game therefore continues to assiduously feed its community, which had already supplied High Isle in 2022.
Necrom will therefore be part of the Shadow of Morrowind saga, which will offer several chapters to tell its story. The first of these will be with The Elder Scrolls Online: Scribes of Fate, a dungeon pack that will be released on March 13, 2023 on PC and March 23 on PlayStation/Xbox. Necrom will likely be the big piece of the cake.
A new journey
Two new regions will then be explored in Tamriel: the Telvanni peninsula where the Necrom capital is located, called the City of the Dead, and Apocrypha, which houses a strange and gigantic library.
Of course, there will be many quests, antiquities, bosses, items, weapons and other goodies; two new companions, Redguard Arcanist Azandar Al-Cybiades and Argonian Guardian Nightsnap, can also be placed at your side.
Finally, we conclude with a release date, and even several: On PC and Mac, The Elder Scrolls Necrom will release on June 5, 2023, while the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and Xbox One versions will arrive on June 20.
We also specify this if you have Xbox Game Pass, you can already play the MMO and all its expansions. Good news.
