The Day Before: the game is postponed for a totally absurd reason, some players don't believe it

While its hype wanes with each new video, The Day Before regrets announcing bad news: the game will not be released on March 1 as planned, but on November 10, 2023. It is via a Twitter message from the development studio that the news is is broken, explaining that this postponement is related to a legal issue. According to the developers, the trademark “The Day Before” was registered by an individual named Sun Jae Lee in the United States. The man probably has no connection to study or play, but the name belongs to him. Fntastic studio reportedly discovered this issue on January 19, 2023 when Sun Jae Lee contacted the studio to complain about his trademark use. As a result, the game’s Steam page was taken down, the studio has to come up with a new name for its game, which explains the postponement of the gameplay video that was supposed to arrive very soon. For many internet users, the excuse doesn’t hold water, and some already see it as a set-up by the developers to postpone the project for several months. Others see a parallel with the creators of Abandoned, who lacked honesty in their communication. Are we facing a future Arles or a scam? The future will tell…
