As promised, Microsoft had organized its first
Developer_Direct tonight on upcoming Xbox and Bethesda games. A new format, strongly inspired by Nintendo Direct and other Sony State of Play, to highlight announcements and games in development, mixing trailers, gameplay sessions and developer interventions. Among the new games announced, a certain Hi-Fi Rush particularly caught our attention. And for good reason, this is the new title from Tango Gameworks labs, creators of The Evil Within and Ghostwire Tokyo. The other peculiarity of this game is that it is immediately available on Xbox Game Pass at the time of its announcement. A nice surprise from Microsoft that delights its community with this type of surprise announcements. An action game with music and rhythm as its theme, Hi-Fi Rush immediately reminds us of No Straights Road by Metronomik released in 2020, and whose entire dubbing process we had followed in Malaysia.
In Hi-Fi Rush, we play Chai, a young adult who is passionate about music and rock’n roll, but who is struggling to find a place for himself in a city where young talent is struggling to emerge. The latter will have to prove the opposite and fight against the institutions represented by the bosses to be killed. Yes, put like that, it seems that Tango Gameworks has pumped everything back from the Malaysians of Metronomik, more ambitious and also with more resources. The fights will obviously take place according to the passing musical rhythm, but less rhythmic players can be reassured, Hi-Fi Rush remains above all an action game. The game is therefore already available on Xbox Game Pass, otherwise it will cost you €30 if you are not a subscriber to the service.
