White papers > Human resources > Odoxa Barometer for Andjaro – Work transformation, precariousness and flexibility: what the French think

What do the French think about job transformation and flexibility? With Odoxa, we present a job scan carried out in October 2022 with 1004 respondents.

Despite the current economic tensions and many preconceived ideas, the survey results reveal that the French are hardworking and willing to accept a certain flexibility in the way they work. I’m 8 out of 10 interested if it has a win-win character. This trend is underlined by the fact that 75% of employees are ready to “work harder to earn more”. When we focus on precarious jobs, this percentage rises to 81%. Employers are therefore responsible for implementing this flexibility while respecting their employees.

Furthermore, the French are much happier with their jobs than one might think. However, a small number of workers experience significant professional constraints for which the job is neither stable, nor interesting, nor secure, generating a feeling of anxiety.

In addition to highlighting key facts about work habits, this Business Barometer above all reveals the flexibility expected of employees. A response to the expectations of employers in an ever-changing professional world.
