The rumors were therefore founded: Ubisoft would be working on a third episode of The Crew. The surprise is feigned on our side anyway, as it was an open secret (especially in the middle), especially since the Ivory Tower studio hadn’t done much since 2018 and the previous episode’s release. . Called The Crew Motorfest, this new episode is expected in 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, PS4 and Xbox One, and seems to be inspired by what Microsoft is doing with the Forza Horizon series. In The Crew Motorfest, we will participate in a festival based on automotive culture in an idyllic setting, the island of O’ahu, in the Hawaiian archipelago, knowing that the game promises an open world that is as vast as it is varied. By choosing this specific moeu, the French developers have secured different landscapes, from slopes covered in volcanic ash to lush tropical forests, passing through winding mountains or simply sandy beaches. The press release already announces more than one hundred cars to drive, and starting tomorrow, Wednesday 1 February, it will be possible to access the game by participating in the Insider program. It is a closed beta test, divided into several phases, which will allow Ivory Tower to collect player feedback and thus improve what is wrong before the official release.
